Yes! When purchasing your BC Tidal Waters Sport Fishing License, you must add a Salmon Conservation Stamp to your cart if you wish to retain any Pacific salmon during your trip.

Because we run private daily charters, guests are responsible for bringing their own food and beverages for the day. Important note: Zeballos is a remote coastal village, and there are no major grocery stores in town. Make sure you stop in Campbell River on your drive across the island to stock up on all the food, drinks, and provisions you will need for your trip.

Dress in layers, as West Coast weather can change quickly. Bring a waterproof rain jacket, thick sweater, sunglasses (polarized are best for seeing into the water), sunscreen, a hat, and a large cooler (to leave in your vehicle) to transport your catch home. We provide all the top-quality fishing rods, bait, and tackle needed for the day.

Catch limits are strictly regulated by the DFO and can change depending on the season and our specific area (Area 25). We primarily target Chinook and Coho Salmon, Halibut, Lingcod, and Rockfish depending on weather and time of year. Captain Jerrod will ensure you are fishing within the legal limits.
